Chelsea Hotel, Cologne

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the city center. The café downstairs offers a variety of breakfast options beyond the pricey buffet. The rooms, while not too fancy, provide just the basics you need, though sound insulation could be improved.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious, felt like a huge apartment, exceptionally clean, with an excellent bathroom, and the front desk staff were very helpful. However, the dining options were a bit sparse. The location was perfect for exploring the vibrant city of Cologne, and the service was top-notch. Overall, great value for money.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were old, falling apart, and not well-maintained, making for a challenging night's sleep. However, the simple room layout was somewhat comfortable. Being located above a smoking part of the restaurant/bar didn't make the experience any better. On the bright side, the staff were accommodating and allowed for early check-in and late check-out, which was a big plus for my trip.
